A Plane Ride Away .. if you're lucky.

Hi all & happy Sunday! I have been slacking a bit on the blog posts over the past week and a half, but I'm baaaack. It's been a busy August with AMAZING trips and then getting my mind back in to reality: teaching. Todays post isn't going to be my usual, but instead a capture of the past weekend I spent with my ~~girlfriends~~ SOULMATES in Seattle, WA. It actually may be the farthest thing from a style post, as I didn't put on makeup or much effort into my appearance the whole trip. NO JUDGEMENTS here.

The ~~WHOLE~~ point of this post is to reflect, remember and restore faith in ~~GOOD~~ relationships. Relationships between women that just make YOU feel good. The type of girlfriend relationships that no matter how often you speak .. or don't, you can pick up right where you left off. The relationships where people change and you accept them for who they are now ..not for who they were then. The girls I spent this past weekend with embody all of these things to me and I'm LUCKY to have them. I like to think they are also LUCKY to have me ;-) (~~insert eye roll here~~). We are all on different journeys in our lives; whether it be marriage, kids, school, work, travel ...but when we are together, it's like we have never been apart. We laughed, joked, cried and remembered "college days" where most of our best memories will ~~ALWAYS~~ come from. My favorite quote from Sex & The City comes to mind, "People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away" -Carrie Bradshaw.
